Adrien Desjardins

Adrien Desjardins serves as a Professor at The University of British Columbia from July 2024. Since March 2011, Adrien holds the position of Honorary Professor and is also a Senior Research Fellow and Lecturer at University College London, in addition to serving as a Professor of Biomedical Engineering. As a Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Echopoint Medical Ltd since November 2018 and a Co-Founder at OmioLabs since October 2023, Adrien plays a key role in both organizations. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Scientist and Project Leader at Philips Research from 2007 to December 2010. Adrien earned a PhD in Biophysics from Harvard University and a PhD from the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology between 2001 and 2007.
