Trip von Minden has a diverse work history in the field of tax. Trip began their career as a Tax Consultant at Price Waterhouse in 1990. Trip then worked as a Senior Tax Supervisor at SulzerMedica from 1992 to 1996. In 1998, they joined JD Edwards as a Senior Tax Manager - International, a role they held until 2003.
After JD Edwards, von Minden served as the Director of Taxation at MacDermid from 2003 to 2005. Trip then moved on to become the Director of Tax and Treasury at Crocs, Inc. from 2005 to 2008, where they developed international tax structures and implemented domestic tax optimization strategies.
From 2008 to 2012, they worked at Western Union as the Vice President - Tax Planning, where they led tax planning efforts for major acquisitions and potential divestitures. Trip also served as the designated successor to the Head of Tax during their time at Western Union.
Most recently, von Minden served as the Vice President - Tax at EchoStar Corporation from 2012 onwards. In this role, they oversaw the tax department, staffed new tax teams, and implemented tax provision processes resulting in significant improvements in income tax accounting.
Trip von Minden obtained a Master of Accounting degree in Accounting from Rice University, where they studied from 1985 to 1990.
