Sander van der Zande

Sander van der Zande has extensive experience in education and engineering. Currently serving as a Docent O&O at Eckartcollege Eindhoven since August 2025, Sander previously worked as a Docent techna at Heerbeeck College from August 2021 to July 2025 and as a Stage - Docent O&O at 2College Cobbenhagenlyceum in early 2021. Earlier roles include a Mad Scientist at Mad Science Nederland and a Stage - docent NaSk at Curio Effent, where Sander gained valuable experience in teaching science subjects at a VMBO school. Prior to transitioning into education, Sander spent 14 years at Signify as a design engineer, focusing on control systems for lighting. Additional work included bartending at Pullshaw Party Service BV during studies and serving as a help desk operator at Chello/UPC. Sander holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and has pursued further education at Fontys Hogeschool Tilburg and LOI.
