Nisha Shah has a varied and extensive work experience in the field of mental health. Nisha has held multiple roles at the Ecker Center for Behavioral Health, starting as a Case Management Supervisor in October 2017 and then progressing to positions such as Outpatient Services Manager, Outpatient Services Director, Clinical Director, and finally Chief Mental Health Officer in October 2022. Prior to their time at the Ecker Center, Nisha worked as a Psychotherapist at Clinical Care Consultants, PC from August 2016 to October 2017. Nisha also gained experience at the Alexian Brothers Center for Mental Health, where they served as a Case Manager from June 2006 to May 2008, followed by a role as an Outpatient Therapist from May 2008 to May 2010. Nisha's final position at that organization was Manager of Clinical Services, which they held from July 2013 to December 2016.

Nisha Shah MS, CRC, LCPC obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, completing their studies from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Masters of Science (M.S.) degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the Illinois Institute of Technology, which they achieved from 2004 to 2006.
