Lindsey Y. Mortenson

Lindsey Y. Mortenson, MD, MS, is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Michigan Medicine, where tenure has spanned from October 2009 to the present. Additionally, Lindsey serves as the Associate Executive Director at University Health Service, University of Michigan, and holds the position of Chief Mental Health Officer for Student Life since April 2022. With extensive experience as a Staff Physician and in various leadership roles including Executive Director and Medical Director at UM University Health Service, Lindsey previously worked as a Psychiatrist at the Anxiety and OCD Treatment Center of Ann Arbor and served as Coordinator of Psychiatric Services at the University of Michigan Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). Academic credentials include an MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, an MS in Healthcare Quality, Safety & Clinical Informatics from Harvard Medical School, and a BA in English Literature from the University of Virginia.
