Kara Hughes

Kara Hughes, SPHR, GPHR, currently serves as Chief People Officer at Eclipse Advantage, driving organizational culture, talent development, and employee engagement. Previously, Kara held key positions at Northwestern Mutual as VP, HR Business Partner-Tech & Digital, and Head of Workforce Planning, overseeing HR strategy for Technology and Client Experience divisions. As Vice President at Sutherland, Kara executed aligned HR strategies globally and addressed talent issues. At ettain group / Global Employment Solutions, Kara created scalable HR processes and enhanced talent management. Earlier roles included directing HR functions at Thryv / Vivial / Berry and leading recruiting initiatives at Modis. Kara holds a Master of Arts in French from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Arts in French and English from Michigan State University.
