Vaish Shastry

Vaish Shastry currently serves as the Director of Impact Acceleration at ECMC Group, where responsibilities include leading the Impact Acceleration Platform and overseeing impact reporting, evaluation, and strategic support for EIF portfolio companies. Previously, Vaish held roles such as Director and Engagement Manager at Guild Education, and Portfolio Manager at A Better Chicago. Experience also includes working as an Investment Banking Associate at William Blair, where Vaish specialized in the Consumer & Retail Group, and earlier as Executive Director at Sunflower County Freedom Project, which aimed to develop young leaders in the Mississippi Delta. Vaish began their career as a Data Analyst at KIPP New Jersey and participated in Teach For America as a Corps Member. Education includes an MBA from the University of Michigan, a Global Master’s in Management from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
