Steven Kaplan

Dr. Kaplan is a world-renowned physician and researcher, and co-founded numerous technology companies, including MediData Solutions (NASDAQ: MDSO). Medidata is a $800M in sales leading global provider of cloud-based solutions for clinical research in life sciences with clients including over 90% of the top 25 global pharmaceutical and biotech, diagnostic and device firms; leading academic medical centers; and contract research organizations. It was announced to be acquired in 2019 by Dassault systems for $5.8Bn.

Professor Kaplan is the Director of the Men’s Wellness Program, Mount Sinai Health System and Professor, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is an internationally renowned authority and one of the primary thought leaders in the study of benign diseases. He has published more than 1000 articles and holds several leadership positions at both Mt. Sinai and the American Urologic Association. He has been awarded with multiple NIH (National Institutes of Health) grants.
