Rebecca Hide

Rebecca Hide is a highly experienced environmental scientist with a strong background in environmental management and impact assessment. Currently an Associate Environmental Scientist at Eco Logical Australia Pty Ltd since January 2015, Rebecca has progressed through roles of increasing responsibility, leveraging sound scientific principles and strategic communication in a multi-disciplinary consultancy setting. Previously, Rebecca worked at Pendoley Environmental, coordinating monitoring programs for major clients in the oil, gas, and mining industries. Additional experience includes guiding nature-based educational activities with the Western Australian Department of Environment and Conservation, volunteer fieldwork with Wildlife Research and Management, and serving as an Environmental Advisor at Sinclair Knight Merz during major project expansions for Rio Tinto Iron Ore. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Conservation Biology and Management with First Class Honours from The University of Western Australia.
