David Drumm

Marine Crustacean Taxonomist at EcoAnalysts, Inc.

David Drumm is a Marine Taxonomist at EcoAnalysts, Inc., with a career spanning over two decades in marine biology and invertebrate zoology. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Invertebrate Zoologist at NOAA/UW, where significant contributions involved creating an annotated checklist of Alaska's marine macroinvertebrates and conducting retrospective analyses to establish baseline data. David also served as a Research Scientist with NOAA, conducting bottom trawl surveys in the Aleutian Islands and the Chukchi Sea to assess marine invertebrate and groundfish populations. Academic experience includes a Teaching Assistant position at the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory, a Fisheries Technician role at the Prince William Sound Aquaculture Corporation, and a Research Assistant position at The Academy of Natural Sciences. David's educational background includes a PhD in Coastal Sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Master’s in Marine Biology from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Gannon University.
