Dr. Ayo Adepoju

Dr. Ayo Adepoju is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated since August 2012, where management of a finance organization comprising approximately 250 personnel includes oversight of investor relations, treasury management, and financial control. In February 2024, Dr. Adepoju was appointed an official member of Forbes Finance Council, an elite community for finance executives. Prior experiences include senior roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in London and its Nigerian branch, leading audit processes and engagements in the banking and capital markets sector. Dr. Adepoju holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, an MBA from Warwick Business School, and a Bachelor's degree with First Class Honours from the University of Lagos, with ongoing education through an Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
