Tom Seward has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tom started their career as a Network Analyst at Total Network Solutions in 1999. In 2004, they joined Severn Trent Plc as a Commercial Graduate Trainee. Tom then worked as an Executive Assistant at Guyana Water Inc in 2005.
From 2006 to 2010, Tom worked at Biffa Waste Services, progressing from a National Account Manager to a Key Account Manager and finally a Senior Key Account Manager.
Tom then joined Biffa in 2010 as a Commercial Manager in the Midlands before being promoted to Account Director for the Coop Group (CRTG) in 2011.
In 2013, Tom transitioned to Reconomy, where they served as a Corporate Account Manager, focusing on the Housebuilder Sector. Tom led a team of 16 and managed a portfolio of 12 strategic account customers, significantly increasing sales and improving customer debt management.
Tom's most recent role is with Ecobat Solutions, where they joined as a Commercial Director in 2017, responsible for all sales, inventory purchases, export, and recycler commercials for waste battery management. In 2022, they were promoted to EU Key Accounts Director (Northern & UK), overseeing key accounts and leading a team focused on material sourcing optimization.
Throughout their career, Tom has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic customer management, budgeting, and sales growth accomplishments.
Tom Seward attended Ellesmere College from 1991 to 1999, where they pursued A-Levels. From 2000 to 2004, they studied Business at Durham University, earning a BA degree.
