Gert van der Merwe

Gert van der Merwe is a seasoned professional in the field of electronics and engineering, currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at Ecocentric Energy since July 2021. With a robust background that includes roles such as Senior Sustaining Engineer at RIG Technologies International and a prior tenure at Ecocentric Energy, Gert has accumulated extensive experience in system engineering. Gert's career began as an Electronic Engineer at J1 LED and progressed through various positions, including Engineer Manager at Nautitech Mining Systems P/L and Senior Electronic Design Engineer at Cochlear. Gert holds multiple educational qualifications, including a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Pretoria, and an Advanced Diploma of Electronics & Communications from TAFE NSW.
