Marco Antonio Vergara Sandoval

Marco Antonio Vergara Sandoval is an experienced professional in the field of geomatics and UAV technology, currently serving as Ingeniero de Proyectos Geomática y UAV at ECOFOR since November 2016. Previously, Marco held the position of Project Manager Geomatics at Leica Geosystems AG, where responsibilities included UAV projects during sales and after-sales phases and the development of new applications and sensors. Career highlights also include geomatics engineering work following the 8.2 earthquake with Universidad de Concepción, as well as structural monitoring roles utilizing photogrammetry at Impregilo. Additionally, Marco has contributed to academic promotion and outreach within the Geomatics program at Universidad de Concepción.
