Shalin Nijel

Shalin Nijel is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and architecture, currently serving as the Head of Engineering at EcoG since June 2024. Prior roles include Head of Engineering and Head of Technical Delivery at Switch, along with positions as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Software Architect at Nextgen Technology Limited. Earlier career experiences encompass roles as an R&D Software Engineer at Snell Advanced Media, Software Developer at ASTL, and Research Assistant at Active Robotics Laboratory, focusing on wireless communication networks for space robotics. Shalin holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Reading and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Mar Athanasius College of Engineering.
