Anjana Baradwaj

Researcher at EcoHealth Alliance

Anjana Baradwaj is a medical student at UC San Diego Health, expected to graduate with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2026, with a Global Health Academic Concentration focusing on the Botswana Sexual and Reproductive Health Initiative. Anjana currently serves as a researcher at EcoHealth Alliance, where involvement includes studying malarial spread among orangutans in Borneo. Previous roles include research assistant and lab manager at San José State University Research Foundation, conducting studies on neural pathways in C. elegans, and co-founding the Congo Basin Institute Club at UCLA. Anjana has also engaged in women's health initiatives with Project RISHI in India and completed a public health internship focused on maternal and infant mortality. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Global Health from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UCLA.
