Michael Liang

Michael Liang, CFA, currently serves as VP and Assistant Treasurer at Ecolab since September 2023. Previously, Michael held the role of Senior Director of Capital Markets, Pensions, and Real Estate at XPO Logistics, where leadership included overseeing treasury activities and managing a ~$4B defined benefit pension plan. Michael also has experience in strategic finance from Presto, supporting capital raises and a successful IPO, and held finance roles at Expedia Group and HotChalk. Michael's early career included positions at General Motors International Operations and Rabobank, focusing on corporate finance and renewable energy project financing, as well as valuable experience as a Private Equity Associate at Buckingham Capital Partners. Educational credentials include an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Finance and Information Systems from NYU Stern School of Business.
