Mario von Rickenbach

Mario von Rickenbach is a co-founder of Future of Materials since December 2023 and Playables GmbH, where Mario has served as a Designer, Coder, and Co-Founder since October 2014. Mario von Rickenbach contributes to academia as a Guest Lecturer at ECAL University of Art and Design Lausanne, focusing on game design courses and workshops since February 2016, and previously as an Assistant Lecturer at Zurich University of the Arts from September 2010 to January 2014. An independent designer and developer since August 2008, Mario gained early experience as a Multimedia Intern at Museum Rietberg, Zurich, in 2011, and as a Private Tutor and Technical Supporter with Studienkreis Zug GmbH from June 2006 to August 2010. Mario holds a Bachelor of Arts in Game Design from Zurich University of the Arts, completed in 2010, with prior studies at ETH Zürich in 2006-2007.
