Francois Garnier

Francois Garnier is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research, film direction, and multimedia design. Since 2000, Francois has served as the Research Manager for EN-ER ENSADLAB at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, focusing on the study of artistic practices in digital spaces and the development of new spatial mediation forms. As a co-owner and Film Director at AmaK since 2001, Francois has been dedicated to creating and producing artistic and cultural content through innovative uses of emerging technologies. Previous roles include Creative Director at Spinningwire, where unique 3D worlds for communication were designed, Consultant Content Chief Designer at Nokia, and 3D Advisor on Wim Wenders' PINA 3D. Francois holds a Doctorate in Aesthetics, Arts, and Technologies from Université Paris 8, completed between 2004 and 2008.
