Karim Emile Bitar

Karim Emile Bitar is a seasoned academic and leader in the field of international relations, currently serving as the Director of the Institute of Political Science and as an Associate Professor at Saint Joseph University of Beirut. Bitar holds multiple leadership roles, including Directeur de recherche at the Institut de Relations Internationales et Stratégiques (IRIS) and Professor of Geopolitics, Diplomacy, and Middle East Studies at École normale supérieure de Lyon. As a cofounder and Chairman of the Board of Directors for Kulluna Irada, Bitar has made significant contributions to civil society. Additionally, Bitar directs the Arab Master in Democracy and Human Rights at the Global Campus of Human Rights and holds editorial responsibilities at L'ENA hors les murs for the École Nationale d'Administration.
