Mette Præst Knudsen

Mette Præst Knudsen is a seasoned academic and professional in the field of innovation management. Currently serving as a part-time Professor at École Polytechnique since September 2021, Knudsen also holds the position of Area Editor at Technovation, focusing on innovation and emerging technologies. At the University of Southern Denmark, Knudsen has been a Professor of Innovation Management and Director of Research since August 2001, and has held roles such as Vice-Dean for Research and Head of Studies for the Master of Project and Innovation Management program. Additionally, Knudsen serves as a member of the Innovation Forum at Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor and has experience as a Visiting Scholar at Beedie School of Business and Griffith University. Knudsen's commitment to public service is evident through political roles in Nyborg Kommune and serving as Chairman for Sikkerhedsstyrelsen.
