Sanduni Wijesooriya

Sanduni Wijesooriya began their work experience as a Chemist at the Industrial Technology Institute (ITI) in January 2019. This role lasted until April 2019. In January 2019, they also started working as an Undergraduate Student Researcher - Capstone Project at the Department of Chemistry, University of Kelaniya, which lasted until January 2020. From January 2016 to March 2020, they were a College Student at the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka. In July 2020, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Department of Chemistry, University of Kelaniya, until March 2021. In August 2021, they started working as a Graduate Student at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Case Western Reserve University. In this role, they conducted research on the electron transfer reaction mechanism during CO2 electroconversion in deep eutectic solvents. Sanduni also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant starting from August 2022. Currently, they are working as a Summer Associate - Research Scientist at Ecolectro, Inc. since June 2023.

Sanduni Wijesooriya's education history begins in 2006 when they attended Devi Balika Vidyalaya. Sanduni completed their studies in 2014, focusing on the physical sciences.
