Richard L. Wallace serves as the Director of Publishing and Editor-in-Chief for Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment at the Ecological Society of America since January 2021. Additionally, Richard has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Northern Rockies Conservation Cooperative since 2010. Richard's academic career includes positions as a Professor of Environmental Studies at Ursinus College from 2002 to 2021 and as an Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at Eckerd College from 1999 to 2002. Prior experience includes consulting for IFAW from 1995 to 1999 and serving as Special Assistant to the Executive Director at the Marine Mammal Commission from 1991 to 1993. Richard holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Environmental Studies from Yale University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont.
