Godfrey Mangezi

Godfrey Mangezi (MBA) has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of security and investigations. Godfrey most recently served as the Head of Security & Investigations at Econet Wireless Zimbabwe, where they provided leadership and direction in all areas of security and investigation best practices. Prior to this, they held the role of Manager-Commercial Investigations at the same company, leading effective investigations and implementing fraud awareness training. Before joining Econet Wireless Zimbabwe, they worked as a Loss Control and Investigations Officer at Agribank, where they controlled losses through the development of crime control systems. Godfrey also served as the Security and Investigations Manager at Batanai Group of Supermarkets, designing security measures and carrying out investigations into criminal cases. Godfrey started their career as a Police Detective at the Ministry of Home Affairs, where they were involved in the detection, investigation, and prosecution of crimes.

Godfrey Mangezi completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from the National University of Science and Technology in 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Forensic Investigation with a focus on Criminology from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2012. In 2007, they also obtained a BTech in Security Risk Management, specializing in Criminology, from the same institution.
