Head Customer Engagement at Econet Wireless

John Thomas has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry, particularly with Econet Wireless Zimbabwe. John started off as a graduate trainee in customer services in November 2013 and later became a High Valued Customer - Key Account Manager in November 2015. John then transitioned to the role of Area Manager in December 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Head Customer Engagement, where they are responsible for developing and implementing the Annual Strategic Plan for Customer Experience touchpoints. Prior to their time at Econet Wireless Zimbabwe, John worked as an Assistant Manager at Innscor Africa from April 2011 to October 2013.

John Thomas obtained a Master in Strategic Marketing degree from the University of Zimbabwe, studying from 2013 to 2015. John also holds a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from the same university, which they completed from 2007 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, John has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including "Mindful Working: 11 Ways to Improve How You Work", "Motivate Remote Teams", "Business Analysis Foundations: Competencies", "Insights from Influencers and Business Leaders", and many others.
