Fanis Michailidis, PhD

Fanis Michailidis, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences and research. Fanis is currently working as a Scientist at Econic Biosciences since April 2023. Prior to this, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Francis Crick Institute from January 2023 to April 2023.

Fanis also gained research experience during their MRes research projects at both The Francis Crick Institute from April 2018 to October 2018, and Barts Cancer Institute from October 2017 to April 2018.

In addition, they have also completed a summer laboratory placement at The University of Manchester's School of Pharmacy department in July and August 2016.

Fanis Michailidis, PhD, completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from The University of Manchester from 2014 to 2017. Fanis then pursued a Research Master's degree (MRes) in Cancer Biology at Imperial College London from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they are attending UCL where they are expected to receive a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Genetics, which they began in 2019 and is anticipated to complete by 2022.
