Leda P. currently serves as the Chief of the Agricultural Development and Climate Change Unit at ECLAC Mexico since June 2014, with previous roles including Officer in Charge and Economic Affairs Officer, focusing on innovation and value-chain governance in relation to MSME. Additionally, Leda has experience as an Associate Economic Affairs Officer and Associate Environmental Affairs Officer, addressing SME competitiveness and disaster risk assessments. Prior to ECLAC, Leda coordinated a Governance Review for Costa Rica's OECD accession at the Ministerio de Planificación Nacional y Política Económica and interned at Fundación MarViva analyzing fisheries policies. Leda's earlier roles include advisory positions in digital government and policy planning. Educational background includes a Master's in Environmental Policy from Wageningen University & Research and a Licenciatura in Political Science from Universidad de Costa Rica.
