Ben Hohne

Senior Research Economist at Economic Cycle Research Institute

Ben Hohne has a diverse work experience in the field of economics. Ben started their career as an Economic Research Analyst at the Economic Cycle Research Institute in 2004 and worked there until 2006. In 2007, they gained experience as a Summer Analyst at Claydon Gescher Associates. The following year, they interned at the UN. In 2009, they joined TickerTXT as a Research and Projections assistant, where they worked until 2010. From 2010 onwards, they returned to the Economic Cycle Research Institute, initially as a Research Economist and later as a Senior Research Economist, holding the latter role since November 2016.

Ben Hohne completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Economics from Franklin University Switzerland in the years 2001 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Affairs from Peking University between 2006 and 2007. In 2007 to 2008, they furthered their studies in International Affairs by obtaining a Master of Science (MSc) degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
