David R. Ives

David R. Ives, AICP, has a diverse work experience that includes roles at the U.S. Economic Development Administration and Booz Allen Hamilton. At the U.S. Economic Development Administration, they held positions such as Deputy Director, Founder/Host of EDA's "The Path" Podcast, and Planning Coordinator. David also worked as the Sustainability Coordinator, Senior Program Analyst, and National Brownfields Coordinator. Prior to that, they were a Senior Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton.

David R. Ives, AICP holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Hamilton College, obtained in 1992, and a Master's in Urban & Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia, earned between 1995 and 1997. In 1999, David obtained certification as an AICP from the American Institute of Certified Planners.
