Denise Zaporzan

Denise Zaporzan, FCPA, FCMA, serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Asteria Global Inc. since November 2005, where expertise in advising international technology start-ups on growth and digitization strategies has been demonstrated. As Chair of the Board of Directors and Finance Committee at Economic Development Winnipeg since January 2020, Denise plays a key role in promoting local economic growth. Additionally, Denise chairs the Board for The Associates of the Asper School of Business, fostering connections between the business community and educational programs. Previous experience includes moderating leadership and executive programs at the Asper School of Business and CPA Manitoba, as well as holding positions such as CFO at Fort Garry Brewing Co Ltd and Controller at Sunwest Screen Graphics Ltd. Academic credentials include a CPA designation from CPA Canada and a Balanced Scorecard Professional Designation from The George Washington University.
