Paul Sweetnam

Paul Sweetnam serves as Vice President of the Ontario Region at Economical Insurance since March 2019, bringing extensive experience in commercial and specialty insurance. Prior roles include Regional Vice President for RSA Canada in Western Canada, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing commercial insurance lines and driving growth in mid-market and large commercial business. Paul has demonstrated leadership through managing underwriting teams and fostering a collaborative work environment while ensuring adherence to corporate values. Previous roles at JLT Insurance Brokers and Arachas Corporate Brokers involved business development and mentorship within the insurance sector. Paul holds a Certified Risk Manager designation from the Global Risk Management Institute and a Certified Insurance Practitioner designation from the Insurance Institute of Ireland.
