Andres Felipe Sanchez Q has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Andres Felipe started their career in 2005 as an Analyst of Financial Planning at the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia. Andres Felipe then moved on to work as an Analyst of Titulizaciones at Banco Santander and as an Senior Equity Analyst at Porvenir. In 2010, Andres joined Serfinco Comisionista de Bolsa as the Head of Equity Research and later as the Commercial Manager of Equity. In 2013, Andres joined Grupo Bancolombia as the Manager of Stocks - Valores Bancolombia, where they led the stock execution team and advised on local and foreign institutional portfolios. Andres Felipe joined Ecopetrol in 2016 as the Investor Relations Officer, then became the Exploration Head of Finance, and currently serves as the Head of Commercial Financial Planning.

Andres Felipe Sanchez Q holds a Master's degree in Finanzas from Universidad de Alcalá, which was completed between 2006 and 2007. Prior to that, they obtained an Ingeniero Industrial degree in Ingeniería Industrial from Universidad de Los Andes, which they completed between 2000 and 2005. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained a certification in "Liderando la Transformación Digital" from Ecopetrol in the year 2021.
