Claudia Hooker Archbold is an experienced legal advisor at Ecopetrol, with a career spanning multiple roles since September 2003, specializing in low carbon solutions, litigation, social investment, and new business development in the energy sector. Claudia has successfully implemented risk management strategies, optimized investments in exploration and production, and facilitated international agreements for enhanced oil recovery and unconventional reservoirs. Additionally, Claudia serves as an academic researcher and adjunct professor at Universidad Externado de Colombia and previously held positions at Universidad de América and Thompson & Knight LLP. Claudia holds a Master's degree in Global Energy, International Arbitration and Environmental Law from The University of Texas School of Law and several postgraduate degrees in specialized legal fields. Currently, Claudia is also the Director and Board Member of the Association of International Energy Negotiators.
