Orlando Solano Silva

Orlando Solano Silva is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in the petroleum industry. Since January 2019, Orlando has been employed as a Geologo Integral at Ecopetrol, following a prominent role as a Senior Interpretation Geophysicist at both Cepsa and PETROBRAS PETROLEO BRASILEIRO SA from October 2011 to January 2019 and August 2005 to October 2011, respectively. Earlier in Orlando's career, valuable expertise was gained as an Exploration Geologist at Ecopetrol from December 1997 to August 2005 and as a Geólogo at Servicio Geológico Colombiano from January 1996 to June 1997. Orlando holds a degree in Geology from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, earned between 1989 and 1995.
