Kelly (Jiayao) Liang

Kelly (Jiayao) Liang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Kelly (Jiayao) started their career as an Actuarial Assistant at FSCO in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Pension Analyst at Morneau Shepell and as a Quantitative Analyst at Manulife. The following year, they joined Scotiabank as a Data Scientist, specializing in Pricing Analytics. In 2018, they joined Ecopia AI as a Data Scientist and later transitioned to the role of Product Manager. During their time at Ecopia AI, they also had an internship as a Machine Learning Engineer.

Kelly (Jiayao) Liang obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, and Statistics from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Marianopolis College from 2012 to 2014 and earned a Diplôme d'études collégiales in Pure & Applied Science. In addition to their formal education, Kelly also received a Certificate of Completion of BMC from Bloomberg in December 2016.
