Jacob Zimbodza

Jacob Zimbodza is an experienced forestry professional with a strong background in forestry operations and management. Currently serving as Forestry Manager at EcoPlanet Bamboo since November 2023, Jacob has previously held significant positions including Plantation Manager at Merensky Timber from September 2021 to October 2023, and Forestry Manager at Siyanqoba Forestry Solutions for over a decade from June 2010 to September 2021. Jacob began the career at Border Timbers Limited, progressing from Senior Forester to Silviculture Forester between January 2004 and May 2010. Jacob holds a Master of Science in Forest Engineering and a Bachelor of Technology in Forest Engineering from Nelson Mandela University, as well as a Higher National Diploma in Forestry from Zimbabwe College of Forestry.
