Aviran Yaacov

Aviran Yaacov has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Aviran is currently the General Manager at Ecoplant, a fast-growing SaaS company they co-founded in 2016. At Ecoplant, Yaacov has been instrumental in introducing a novel IoT/AI-based software product that helps industrial organizations reduce electricity consumption and improve operational efficiency. The company has raised over $10M in funding and boasts prestigious clients such as Ecolab, Nestle, Nissan, Coca-Cola, and more.

Prior to Ecoplant, Yaacov worked as an Investor at Techstars starting in 2023. From 2014 to 2017, they held the position of Executive Sales Director at SAP. Before that, Yaacov gained experience at TAMAL as a Team Leader and Senior Software Project Manager from 2011 to 2013. Their earliest work experience was as a Software Implementation Consultant at Elad Software Systems from 2007 to 2011.

Aviran Yaacov completed their education in a chronological order. Aviran pursued a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies at Sapir College from 2008 to 2011. Following that, they attended Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and earned an Associate's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management, graduating between 2011 and 2013. Later on, Aviran Yaacov pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at The College of Management Academic Studies between 2015 and 2017.

In addition to their academic achievements, Aviran Yaacov obtained an Alumni certification from Techstars in October 2019.
