Nicolas Pican

Nicolas Pican has a wide range of work experience spanning over several years. Nicolas is currently working at ecoRobotix as the Team 'Vision' Manager since November 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Engineered S.A. as a Senior Software Engineer from August 2016 to August 2018.

From 2013 to 2016, Nicolas held the position of Principal Software Engineer at SICPA and prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at the same company from November 2010 to July 2013.

Before joining SICPA, Nicolas worked at Harman Consumer International as a Senior Software Architect from January 2008 to June 2010. Their previous experience includes working as a Project Manager at Mentor Graphics from 2004 to 2007, and at Fastcom Technology from 2000 to 2004.

Nicolas also worked as a Software Engineer at Axiom Cambridge Ltd. from 1998 to 2000, and as a Research Associate at Heriot-Watt University from 1997 to 1998.

Nicolas Pican has a strong educational background in computer science. Nicolas obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Neural Network from Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy 1. This academic achievement spanned from 1992 to 1995. Prior to their Ph.D., Nicolas completed their Engineer and Master's degrees in Computer Science at Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) from 1986 to 1990.

In addition to their formal education, Nicolas Pican has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In April 2021, they received a certificate in "Fundamentals of Accelerated Computing with CUDA C/C++" from NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute. Furthermore, in March 2016, Nicolas became a certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance. These additional certifications demonstrate their commitment to staying current in their field and acquiring relevant knowledge and expertise.
