Tom Price

Founder, CEO at Ecosafi, the Better Cooking Company

Tom Price has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tom is the Founder and CEO of Ecosafi, the Better Cooking Company since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Inyenyeri as the Director of Strategic Initiatives from 2017 to 2020, where they focused on solving climate, health, and poverty issues through smarter cooking solutions. At ALL Power Labs from 2013 to 2017, Tom served as the Director of Market Strategy and led projects in Liberia and California related to carbon negative energy production. Tom also founded and served as the Executive Director of Black Rock Solar, an NGO that provided solar power to schools and community centers, from 2007 to 2010. Tom's work experience also includes roles such as the Environmental Manager at Burning Man, freelance journalist covering environment and human rights issues, Chairman of the Environmental Advisory Committee for the 2002 Winter Olympics Salt Lake City, and various positions at environmental advocacy organizations such as Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance and Alaska Wilderness League.

Tom Price attended Provo High School from 1981 to 1985, but did not obtain a degree or study any specific field during that time. Tom then enrolled at the University of Utah from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
