Alice Rose Murphy

Alice Rose is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in fullstack engineering and development management. Currently serving as a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Ecosia since August 2022, Alice has successfully conducted web performance audits that enhanced mobile loading times and spearheaded the migration of an internal tool to a SASS solution, reducing technical debt. Previously, Alice held the position of Head of Development at A Color Bright GmbH from October 2015 to July 2022, where leadership included setting processes and coaching a team of developers. Alice also has a strong background as a Senior Web Developer and Software Engineer in earlier roles, contributing to notable projects and establishing modern development practices. Alice hold a BA (Hons) in Linguistics from the University of Canterbury.
