Alexei Ogrel has extensive experience in the IT and research fields, currently serving as Head of IT & Systems at ECOstyle B.V. since January 2007, with previous roles as ICT Manager and R&D & ICT. Prior to this, Alexei worked as a Software Engineer at RDS IT-Support from November 1997 to January 2007, focusing on the development and maintenance of a process control system for an automated robot container terminal in Rotterdam. Alexei's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from Leiden University, where a post-doctoral research position involved synthesizing peptaibol antibiotic zervamicin IIB. Additional educational qualifications include a Master's Degree and Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and Bio-organic chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology.
