Alistair Harrison

Alistair Harrison has extensive work experience in various roles within the finance and business sectors. Alistair is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Ecotricity, where they have been since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Business Transformation at Ecotricity from April 2020 to September 2020. Before joining Ecotricity, Alistair was a Consultant for various companies from December 2018 to March 2020. Alistair also served as the Finance, IT, and Legal Director for Matthew Clark Bibendum at C&C Group from April 2018 to November 2018. Alistair has a strong background in the drinks wholesale and distribution industry, having held the position of Managing Director at Venus Wine & Spirit Merchants PLC from January 2017 to April 2018. Alistair also worked as the Finance Director at Matthew Clark from 2010 to 2016. Prior to these roles, Alistair held finance-related positions at Pendragon Corporate Services, Hanson UK, AXA, and KPMG.

Alistair Harrison obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in 1998. Alistair then pursued a Trainee Chartered Accountant program at ICAEW from 1999 to 2003, followed by becoming an Associate Chartered Accountant from 2003 to 2013. Alistair further enhanced their accounting expertise by completing the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from APMG-International between 2011 and 2016. Alistair's education culminated in him attaining the status of Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) from 2013 to 2027.
