Nicola Meyrick

Nicola Meyrick has over 18 years of work experience in various roles related to regulation, compliance, and risk management in the energy sector. Nicola is currently working as the Head of Regulation and Compliance at Ecotricity, where they oversee all regulatory and compliance requirements for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer operations. Prior to this, they served as the Group Risk Manager at B2B Specialist and as a Senior Risk and Compliance Analyst at Gazprom Energy. Meyrick also has experience in regulatory compliance officer roles at ENGIE and as the Regulations, Compliance, and Training Manager at DDC OS. Nicola has a strong track record of ensuring adherence to regulations, managing industry consultations, and implementing risk management strategies. Meyrick's earlier experience includes sales and management roles in various organizations such as CPL Industries and E.ON.

Nicola Meyrick attended Stella Maris Convent Bideford from 1983 to 1985 and obtained O levels. From 1985 to 1987, they studied at Leigh College, where they earned a BTEC OND in Supervisory Management, specializing in Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management/Manager. Finally, from 1987 to 1989, Nicola attended Blackpool & the Fylde College, where they obtained an HND in Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management, focusing on Hospitality Administration/Management. In addition to their degrees, they also received certifications such as a BTEC HND in Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management and an OND in Hotel, Catering Supervisory Management, both from BTEC.
