Steve Ellis

Steve Ellis has extensive work experience in the energy and construction industry. Steve is currently the Generation Director at Ecotricity, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this role, Steve was the Head of Generation, Head of Engineering & Construction, Head of Construction, and Head of Projects at Ecotricity. Steve started their career at Ecotricity as a Construction Project Engineer in March 2010. Steve was also self-employed as a Freelance Engineer from 2001 to 2011 and worked as a Sub-Agent at Black & Veatch from 2003 to 2005. Steve was also an Engineer at McLaren Construction Group PLC from 2002 to 2003.

Steve Ellis has a background in Civil Engineering from Nottingham Polytechnic and attended the University of Nottingham from 1988 to 2001.
