Roman Kolbert

Roman Kolbert is an experienced technical lead with a strong background in robotics and software engineering. Currently at EcoVadis since March 2023, Roman serves as a Technical Lead and Senior Backend Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer at MaibornWolff GmbH, where Roman developed a robotics control system utilizing probabilistic methods. Roman's earlier work as a Junior Researcher at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft involved various robotics projects, focusing on system development and compliance applications. Additionally, Roman contributed to robotics research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was part of the winning team at the first Amazon Picking Challenge. Academically, Roman has a Master's degree in Computational Engineering Science and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science from Technische Universität Berlin.
