Patricia Strickland brings over 27 years of operational and financial management experience in small technology companies. She is a seasoned leader with expertise in financial planning, small business management, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, internal controls, cash flow management, risk management and actionable financial reporting. Patricia embraces big picture perspectives and long term planning to drive profit and growth. Prior to Ecovative, Patricia was CEO of Ceralink Inc. where she successfully managed the company’s business growth for over 7 years. During this time, she played an integral role in directing commercialization efforts for Microwave Assist Technology (MATTM), a proprietary heating technology for high-tech ceramics. She was also instrumental in leading the launch of Ceralink Materials Testing Services, a mechanical testing facility in St. Clairsville, OH serving the aerospace industry. In her prior role as CFO at Ceralink, Patricia built the financial and accounting infrastructure of the company from the ground up. Her operational experience includes developing internal controls, managing all accounting functions, purchasing and vendor management, grant management, audit and tax compliance, and managing relationships with outside business advisors. Patricia has served on the Industrial Advisory Board at RPI’s Center for Automation Technologies & Systems. Patricia also served in the U.S. Marine Corps where she ranked as an expert marksman and developed a passion for adventure. Patricia earned her B.S. in Business Management - summa cum laude from Alfred University where she also won the Financial Executives International Award on two occasions.
