Cody McKenzie

Cody McKenzie possesses extensive experience in both the racing and paint industries. Currently serving as a 48 NXS Race Engineer and Simulation Engineer at Richard Childress Racing since September 2018, Cody has contributed to the field through engineering roles, including an internship at Chip Ganassi Racing Teams and a graduate assistantship at Clemson University. As a co-owner of Xtreme Colorz, established in January 2011, Cody specializes in mixing and creating custom paint colors while managing customer interactions and order fulfillment. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Francis Marion University. Cody's early career includes sales and customer service roles at NAPA AUTO PARTS and a position as a learning assistant in technical physics.
