Jillian Tengood Hillman

Associate Director, Innovation & Emerging Technologies, Device Safety at ECRI Institute

Jillian Tengood Hillman is an accomplished professional in the field of bioengineering and medical device safety with extensive experience in innovation and emerging technologies. Currently serving as Associate Director at ECRI since April 2017, Jillian has held various roles including Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Project Engineer, focusing on device safety and technical development. Prior to ECRI, Jillian was a Senior Research and Development Scientist at Hyalo Technologies, leading a team through pre-clinical trials and contributing to patented drug delivery technologies. Jillian also gained valuable experience as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where research involved the application of magnetic nanoparticles for drug delivery and tissue reendothelialization. Educationally, Jillian earned a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh and holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University.
