Shwetha Prakash

Shwetha Prakash is a dedicated researcher in the field of chemistry, currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University at Buffalo since August 2022. Shwetha serves as a Teaching Assistant at the same institution and is also a Student Member of ECS - The Electrochemical Society since February 2023. Previous experience includes a Project Trainee position at the Indian Institute of Chemical Biology under Chief Scientist Dr. Parasuraman Jaisankar, and an online internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Indore, focused on studying the anti-cancer activity of a thiourea tripyridyl dinuclear copper (II) complex. Earlier internship experience at the University of Calicut involved synthesizing and characterizing one-dimensional crystalline CeO2 nanotubes. Shwetha holds an Integrated MSc in Chemistry from the Central University of Tamil Nadu, completed in May 2022.
