Gautam K.

Gautam K. has an extensive work experience in the technology industry. Starting in 1997, they were the CTO and Founder of Microlinc LLC where they raised seed funding and evangelized the idea for packet computing. Gautam then moved on to Nortel Networks in 1999, where they were the Manager of Global Professional Services and Cable Media Solutions. In 2000, they were the CTO/VP of Engineering/MD India of IRIS Holdings Inc., where they raised seed financing, recruited the management, and advisory board of industry veterans. In 2004, they moved on to Xilinx Inc. as a Program Manager, where they managed a team delivering high speed serdes based applications and participated in other roles as required in technology, strategy and business development. In 2007, they were the Operations, Strategy and Business Development at IRIS Technologies Inc. (now part of Polaris Design Systems). From 2012 to 2016, they were the Founder of Xceler Systems Inc. and an Executive Consultant. Most recently, they have been the COO and VP of Engineering at Ectron Corporation since 2018, where they and their team developed a new Hybrid edge plus cloud IoT platform working with Azure IoT called SmartEYE. Gautam also helped sign up partnerships with Microsoft, Arrow Electronics, Intel, Xilinx, Balluff and other companies.

Gautam K. began their educational career in 1990 when they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) in 1994. In 2010, they continued their education by attending INSEAD and obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2011, with a focus in Business.
